The Pro licence is perpetual: it does not expire and it does not renew. New versions are published from time to time and are free to use with the same key — nothing here promises a particular version or a timetable.
Try Pro mode free for 15 days. The key arrives by e-mail, so you can build the printed book and check the output before paying. When it ends the app returns to Basic mode — the books you generated stay yours.

How a licence works
Buy once
One payment, one key, no subscription and no renewal. The key is yours and it keeps working.
Activate in the app
Open Help → Activate Pro… and paste the key. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
Offline by design
The key is validated on your machine. The app never contacts a licence server to open, so it keeps working without a connection.
Pro is not on sale yet. The checkout opens with the first release; until then, Basic mode is complete and free, and it is the same download the Pro key will unlock.
